There are some basics that most, if not all butlers provide, including (but not limited to) unpacking and packing your luggage, handling your laundry, ironing your clothes, shining your shoes, pulling a bubble bath and making sure your mini bar is fully stocked. Many of us are not accustomed to these services, so these niceties take our vacations up several levels. So what types of things do they do for you? They'll arrange for in-suite dining experiences, for example, a special breakfast on your veranda, a cocktail party or an intimate dinner for a special celebration (or just because). Forget about making your own reservations - they'll handle them all for you. Dining, spa treatments. maybe even a private workout.
