​Join me as we explore waterways, wine regions and history on this river cruise from Luxembourg to Holland.  A wine lovers cruise, we'll have a Master of Wine sailing with us offering lectures, tastings and tips on food and wine pairings. Plus plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful wines from the region in addition to the breathtaking scenery, charming towns, castles and cathedrals on our way to Amsterdam.

Visit France, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands - Paris to Amsterdam on the beautiful Moselle & Rhine Rivers

​DAYS 1-2: Paris - Enjoy two pre-cruise nights in the City of Light.  Plenty of time to see the city at your own pace.  A visit to Atelier des Lumières (an amazing audio/video experience of light, images and music) is included on day 2.  
DAY 3: Remich -  In the morning we will board a high speed train for Metz or Luxembourg City and coach bus to Remich to embark on our Avalon ship.

DAY 4: Remich - In the morning you can take an optional tour to Trier, Germany's oldest city.  The afternoon you have choices between active, discovery or classic tours featuring Luxembourg City or enjoying a walk through the vineyards or a bike ride along the banks of the Moselle.
DAY 5: Bernkastel - Bernkastel, in the middle of the Moselle Valley's wine producing country, is a favorite stop, showcasing many medieval buildings.  Tour the town or take a hike nearby, followed by another wine tasting!
DAY 6: Cochem - Choices today include a classic guided visit to a castle, a cable-car ride and hike, a discovery experience to a mustard mill or a Moselle Wine experience.  Later enjoy the day cruise through the Moselle Valley and a food and wine pairing dinner.​
DAY 7: Rüdesheim-Rhine Gorge - Cruise through the scenic Rhine Gorge with breathtaking views of castles and the legendary Lorelei.  In Rudesheim treat yourself to a wine tasting combined with the Musical Museum or a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument and hike.  
DAY 8: Cologne - Join a walking tour of Cologne - focused on the Jewish heritage sites or the classic sites including the twin-steepled Gothic cathedral.  Spend some free time over a glass of Kölsch pale lager—locally brewed for over 100 years or enjoy an amazing piece of torte at the nearby Cafe Reichard.  
DAY 9: Amsterdam - Enjoy the included canal cruise highlighting Amsterdam's lovely architecture.  Free time in the afternoon offers plenty of options, including a visit to one of the many museums in the city.
DAY 10: Amsterdam - Disembarkation
