Lakama Luxury Travel is dedicated to creating the best itineraries for our clients, based on personal experience and opinion, professional expertise and industry training. Itineraries are designed utilizing a worldwide network of suppliers through my affiliation with Travel Planners International and Ensemble travel consortia. The network of suppliers includes cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, 4 and 5 star hotel properties, resorts and villas, day tours and shore excursions, transfer and car rentals, travel insurance, other preferred suppliers and more.
Planning Service Fees
Lakama Luxury Travel charges a per trip research and planning fee which is non-refundable, non-transferable and due after the initial discovery call. Fees can increase based on complexity, number of destinations and larger groups. Clients find they easily recoup the planning fees through time saved and the value added to their travels.

Flights
Lakama Luxury Travel can assist with booking international air travel. I do not work with points, mileage or airline programs to purchase tickets.

- Consultation
- Research (destinations, accommodations, routes, flights, etc.)
- 2-3 itinerary proposal outlines
- Detailed planning and with up to 3 refinements for one itinerary
- Confirmation and management of all parts of the trip, including flights (if needed), accommodations, transfers, day tours, activities, etc.
- Itinerary documentation - electronic format
Cruise and Land Tour Itineraries - from $250
- Consultation
- Research cruise line and tour operator itineraries
- 2-4 itinerary proposals
- Detailed planning for one itinerary including pre and post cruise or tour options (fees vary depending on complexity)
- Confirmation and management of all parts of the trip, including flights (if needed), cruise, tours, accommodations, transfers, day tours, activities, etc.
- Itinerary documentation - electronic format
Cruise, Tour and Hotel Only - Fee Waived
- Fees are waived for established clients on cruise only bookings where the client has picked the cruise line or tour operator and itinerary
- Planning fees are waived for established clients on hotel only bookings where the client has picked the destination and property. I do not work with point programs.
- Through my network I often am able to provide additional amenities and other benefits for my clients to enjoy, as well as access to special rates.
Flights
Lakama Luxury Travel can assist with booking international air travel. I do not work with points, mileage or airline programs to purchase tickets.
- A $75 fee per ticket applies
- A $75 per ticket change fee will apply in addition to any supplier or airline imposed penalties and fees
Supplier Pricing and Fees
- All quotes provided are subject to availability at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice.
- Lakama Luxury Travel is not responsible for omissions, printing and/or presentation errors in brochures, on Internet sites, or in any other media where such information may be presented. We reserve the right to make corrections as required.
- Fees and charges for each travel component (e.g. cruise, hotel, transportation, etc.) are the responsibility of the traveler.
- All change, cancellation or penalty fees imposed by the supplier are the responsibility of the traveler.
- It is the responsibility of the traveler to know and understand supplier cancellation policies.
- Lakama Luxury Travel is not responsible or liable for any negligent acts or defaults of a supplier or anyone else not under our control.
- Travel insurance with cancellation protection is highly recommended and should be considered / purchased when you are making your initial reservations.
Terms and Conditions:
- The responsibility of Lakama Luxury Travel is strictly limited. Lakama Luxury Travel is merely an agent for travel suppliers. By using this Web site and our services you agree that Lakama Luxury Travel is not and will not be held liable for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers. The payment of a deposit and/or the issuance of tickets or vouchers shall be deemed your consent to the terms and conditions as presented herein.
- We assume no liability for any acts or omissions of any Supplier including, without limitation, those involving cancellation of tours/cruises, schedule changes, rerouting, delays, damage to or loss of baggage, property damage, equipment failures, accidents, death or injuries to persons regardless of cause, whether or not services are tendered or transportation provided.
- Sales agreement restrictions prevents Lakama LuxuryTravel from booking consumers on certain cruise lines if they are residing outside the U.S., Canada, Mexico or Puerto Rico.
