A Galapagos Family Trip

We just returned from Galapagos Islands with a family group of 7. I am a control freak and do not like cookie cutter travel although I do like my comforts while away from home. Laurie was the perfect travel planner for us! She took the time to understand what I wanted; she researched all options, presented them in a comprehensive easy to understand way; was ALWAYS available for questions; helped us navigate every hiccup (my daughter's name change due to divorce between original booking and travel date, etc); answered every question (checking with Monograms/Metropolitan Touring for accurate answers) and the most important part: She helped us navigate canceled flights in Miami (due to troubles in Quito, Ecuador)! Without her I doubt we would have made it to our ship in Baltra (about a third of the passengers did not). She got our flights to Baltra changed from a Quito origination to a Guayaquil origination as well as making sure a local host met us at the new airport destination. I highly recommend Laurie Marschall and am sure we will be using her services in the future!
