 Travel Weekly is pleased to announce that professional travel advisor Laurie Marschall has been selected to participate in the STAR (Select Travel Advisor Recognition) Program during its annual CruiseWorld event, November 15-17, 2018. STAR participants demonstrate what it means to be a qualified professional in the travel industry and are selected based on strict qualifying criteria. CruiseWorld brings together nearly 1,300 travel industry professionals to participate in a wide variety of specialization and certification programs, hands on workshops, networking opportunities with peers and suppliers and hear keynote addresses by industry CEOs, including Frank Del Rio, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruises CEO Richard Fain and Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald.
In addition to the keynote speakers, participants will hear from senior level executives from Seabourn, Holland America, Princess, Cunard, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Norwegian, Celebrity and Carnival cruise lines. STARs will have the opportunity to learn about new destinations and products, form connections with a variety of travel companies and take part in VIP guided tours on a number of the best cruise ships around. These valuable experiences keep STAR advisors up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices which in turn allows them create unique itineraries for their clients.
